Mockup 3D can do more then just place your designs on 3D models. In this video we go over:
Shapes: You can change the shape of models and compensate for any graphics that get stretched. More on that here.
Transparency: When your layout is transparent, the model will be transparent, at least for some models. You can also change the inside color to be any color or even transparent, so you can, for example, put food in a window box.
Color Layers: You can add color layers as well as image layers. Just hit the letter C and adjust the color by hitting the color patch on the layer.
Metallics: Any layer an be metallic. Just hit the [M] key. And it can be any color — grey becomes silver, yellow becomes gold.
Gloss: Hit the [G] key to make any layer glossy – a good way to simulate a spot varnish. Or you can open the layer (double click it) to turn down the gloss and make it super matte. You can also adjust the glossiness of the whole model with the slider below the layers.
